Ass Hat on Hold

June 19, 2009

The weekly Ass Hat award is due today but in light of the fact that I’ve had about 20 minutes of sleep in the past 48 hours, I am going to put Mr. Ass Hat  in the corral for a day or two. My son has had a rough time post surgery and I’m trying to figure out how to sneak in two minutes of sleep in this oh-so-comfy recliner. This isn’t your Daddy’s recliner, by the way. It’s about as comfortable as resting on a brick.

Don’t leave me because I am a shitty blogger this week. Yes, I’m insecure. As soon as my big guy is able to go home and is on the mend, I’ll be back….with an Ass Hat Award and maybe a post about the all-night party that kept my son from resting here in this germy hospital room.

I second Heather’s comment. We love you and wouldn’t leave you.

I am impressed that you do all that you do. You are an inspiration! (And you are left handed and blonde so that gets you points right off the bat!)

I love that you have your priorities straight! We can wait and take care of ourselves. Only you can take care of your son and yourself. Please pass on my wishes of wellness to him.
