Why, you started keeping account books from the day you were born..? I dont even remember how much a litre of milk would cost 5 years ago. ..
Happy Birthday there..
(I know its belated,, oops. I am always late…
Hope I will live long enough to read a post titled ” 90 years of Speaking my mind – Still going strong ”
Why, Arun….thank you!
Priceless indeed. Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday, my dear!! I remember gas at 30 cents a gallon. Those were the days…

(Broken collarbone?)
KEN…I am laughing my ass off…you need to be my co-pilot here. That’s a fabulous idea. Well, I was 7 lbs 2 oz, 20″ long and I was born with a broken collar bone. My mother told me years ago that I was a very cheerful baby–always smiling, eating and sleeping. Not much has changed. Well, I am no longer 7 lbs 2oz ….not even close. Then again, that would make me look like one of the Olsen twins…
Next year, I’m going to do my stats…but I may leave out my hip and thigh measurements.
You shoulda put you personal stats up there. You know, 5 lbs. 6 ozs, 24.5″ or whatever they were. It’s amazing how things change over time…and how some things don’t.
Don’t take me seriously pse. I come here to lighten up. I remeber 64 real well, I had a great summer and school was good. I think Rose Kennedy came to visit our school then. I do the 10x multiplier to show that thing overall haven’t changed too much. Although I worked through recessions in 75, couple in the 80s. This is a tough one for anyone to make it through. Enjoy the weekend.
Jerry—it’s just a list….lol. Actually the mean income was a bit lower than 7300$ per year. Now that the mean income is higher, it sort of balances out—but it’s a hoot looking at the price of gas being 30 cents/gallon 46 years ago.
Also…I don’t think the mean income these days is much more than $7300 a year considering all of the unemployment, so I say lower the gas prices.
AND I want to cook a meal for 14 cents per person.
Anyway, Jerry…it was just for fun but you always take things seriously. Is that the engineer part? lol
Mean Income was $7300 a year. Take everything multiply it by 10X, get today approx cost. I remember going to the World’s Fair in NY a few times in 1964 and spent summer at a “beach club”, ie set of pools in NYC and “tar beach” ie rooftop sunbathing. Enjoy rest of the weekend.
Ha! This looks for all the world like a post EYE would put up. Loved it. And my, oh my, what a cute peachy doll little missy was (smile).
Happy Birthday, you priceless Blondie!
